Update: get the fried green tomatoes. Best in Greenville. It has the best pub cheese, too. And if you're there for lunch, the French dip. Yum! ---- We went for our second visit on a Saturday for a late lunch. We didn't realize the menu would be different, but it was fine. Saturday and Sunday afternoon was the brunch menu. Disappointed that we couldn't get the delicious fried green tomatoes, but next time. Someone at the table got the chicken and waffles. Although I didn't taste it, it looked yummy. I got the burger with a fried egg (also a brunch item.) Cooked perfectly and with a very unique bun. Although it's delicious, the Old Fashioned on tap is very strong. (That's not a bad thing, I suppose. Lol) The menu is a bit small and unique but this place is definitely worth a visit....and a return visit! Oh, and the staff is amazing!
An absolute hidden gem to experience. Custom Crafted Cocktails that are so done to perfection and the food well, that is no small mention either, delicious! The prettiest side salad EVER (my husband’s) and the chicken pesto sandwich was so fresh and balanced. Everything is truly spot on and well done! Michael the “Cocktail Crafter” / Bartender is great and knows his &%#! We will definitely make our way there more often.
Well, it's snowing in the upstate good people. So, I decided to come out grab some eats and drinks. Woodside Bistro excellent food. In all honesty, I don't want to tell the public about for fear of being overrun by the masses, haha. This spot is a chill hidden city vibe. The sliders are on point. I love the seasond slider patties, yes! Truffle fries and Korean BBQ wings delicous!! For those cocktail lovers, this is a spot to stop and sip some awesome hand crafted cocktails. La Señorita, a Tequila martini I created Robby (pronounced Row_be). Created the La Señorita perfectly based upon the drink specs. Also try the 'Explorer' I dig this place. Great spot start to a fun chill evening.
My husband, daughter and I, just left from having Fried Green Tomatoes,Steak, Ribs, Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, Squash & Zucchini and Mac & Cheese between the 3 of us. We all agree that it was the BEST Tomatoes,Steak and Ribs that you will ever find! The sides were all good Compliments to the Chef !!!! 100% We will be back!!! We also sat next to a wonderful couple with 2 kids and they were very sweet and polite. The friendliness of the staff were awesome! Everything was Phenomenal! Definitely need to give this place a try... Will not disappoint.
Excellent food in a relaxing environment. Don’t sleep on the fried green tomatoes- it’s a must order for every visit. (tomatoes not pictured because I’m not ruining the surprise for you. Just order them.)
Woodside Bistro catered our wedding, and it was phenomenal. The planning process, the service at the wedding, the food etc… everything was top tier. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding night so memorable—because everyone always remembers the food! We would recommend Woodside Bistro to anyone looking to have their wedding/special event catered, and even if you need lunch/dinner, it’s also one of our favorite restaurants in Greenville! My family and I decided to try this place last minute. We all three agree this place has the absolute best stake and ribs we have ever tasted from any restaurant we have been too. Amazing!!! Definitely deserves 5 star rating.
We stopped by for Sunday brunch on a whim. Had the Woodside plate...a delicious dinner plate sized pancake, choice of eggs, bacon or sausage and grits or fruit salad. Really delicious from start to finish. My hubby had the sausage bacon omelette with toast. He thoroughly enjoyed it. Great menu selections as well as cocktails. Great vibe, bright atmosphere and the service was fantastic. Had a great discussion with the bartender (we sat at the bar) about Vicario spirits, a local distillery, which we saw behind the bar. Definitely will go back.
